We heard that some of our clan was going to Panama City Beach and Pensacola Beach, so we asked if we could join them. We left our fifth-wheel in GA and stayed in a condo near where the kids were vacationing at a beach house in Florida.
This was my first visit to the gulf coast, and I became instantly enamored with the beach. Its pure white, sugary sand squeaked beneath my feet, and the sea was a beautiful aqua.
Access to a private beach came with the beach house where the kids stayed. Heavenly! We swam and soaked up the rays and just enjoyed being in the company of family.

This is the actual diamond formation that the Blue Angels fly in. Look how close they fly together!

I love the gulf coast, especially when the beach is all but deserted. James, Jimmy, and I stayed at Seagrove in Jeff and Jan's condo one year when we had to take Jim back to college in Pensacola. I could have stayed forever if not for the hurricanes.
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures!
The blue angels are so great! Not only the tight formation, but the noise when they fly by is incredible.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting.

And yes, the beach and museum were spectacular, but being with family was (as always) the best part. Thanks for posting these pictures too!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing these again and wish we could all do a repeat right now!
